2008 WSOP Begins Tuesday on ESPN

Tuesday night is the night that poker fans have been waiting for. Only weeks after the 2008 World Series of Poker concluded in Las Vegas the first event is ready to air on ESPN.

And the final table Event #1 (($10,000 Pot Limit Hold’em) includes an all-star lineup.

Andy Bloch, who holds the record for most WSOP final tables without a bracelet, joins Phil Laak, Patrik Antonius, Nenad MedicChris Bell and online professionals Mike “SowersUNCC” Sowers and Amit “Amak316″ Makhija in pursuit of their first WSOP bracelet.

However Mike Sexton and Kathy Liebert, who each have one bracelet already, will be doing their best to add to their collection.

The two one-hour episodes will air back-to-back beginning at 8 pm ET. A total of 33 hours of WSOP coverage will air on ESPN over the next 17 weeks leading up to the broadcast of the Main Event final table featuring the November Nine.
