Both players still find themselves trailing the big stack from Day 1a, Brett Watson, who finished his starting day with 257,400.

A total of 187 players took to the felt on Day 1b putting the field at 340 with one starting day yet to come. Of the 92 players who survived the seven levels of play were Kenna James (151,400), Tom Dwan (107,400), 2010 champion Tyron Krost (56,400) and Vitaly Lunkin (40,300).
