The people of the poker world have spoken. After nearly six weeks of voting the 5th Annual BLUFF Magazine Reader’s Choice Awards results are in.

The 14 categories included Favorite Poker Personality, won by 2009 Poker Hall of Fame inductee Mike Sexton, and Favorite Poker Twitterer, won by the oldest nominee Doyle Brunson. Phil Ivey, who won multiple bracelets at the 2009 World Series of Poker, also won multiple RCA’s by taking home Favorite Player of 2009 and Top Story of 2009 for his Main Event final table appearance.

“The Reader’s Choice Awards give poker fans the chance to speak their minds a little bit,” said BLUFF Editor in Chief Lance Bradley. “We think our readers are passionate about the game and the votes certainly reflect that. Some of the races were extremely close.”
