Justin Shronk passed away this weekend from unknown causes. He was 27 years old.

Justin Shronk, a BLUFF Magazine contributor who most recently was working as a producer for PokerRoad Radio, passed away this weekend. He was 27 years old.

If you’ve followed the explosion of new media coverage of the poker world then you’ve most likely seen his handiwork and more importantly his passion. Along with his work with PokerRoad Shronk had also worked in various roles with PokerNews and CardPlayer.

“Shronk was not only a friend of mine personally, but he was also a real friend of the poker industry,” said Eric Morris, publisher of BLUFF Magazine. “He was a hard-working guy who you always looked forward to seeing. The game of poker is a little less fun today.”

While no details on his death have been announced PokerRoad’s Joe Sebok posted on his blog that it appears to be from natural causes.

It seems he passed from natural causes, and was not in any kind of pain.  He had different health problems that he wrestled with throughout the last few years, so I would guess it was from one of these that he succumbed.

His final BLUFF Magazine contribution appeared in the April issue.
