Bluff Poker Tour: Event #1 Goes Thursday Night

The Bluff Poker Tour’s newest season kicks off tonight with a $10 + $1 buy-in tournament at PitbullPoker.com and to help celebrate the launch of the new season Pitbull Poker is adding $1,000 to the prize pool.

The grand prize for the tour this season is a seat into the Sports Legends Poker Challenge, a $10,000 buy-in poker tournament to be held at the Venetian in Las Vegas in late May. To be eligible for any of the prizes players must open an account with PICClub.com and register for the BPT here.

Tonight’s event begins at 9:15pm ET and members of the PICClub Pro Team will also be playing, each with a bounty on their heads. Collecting a bounty in any BPT stop automatically earns you entry into the season-ending Tournament of Champions. The only other way to earn entry into that event is by winning any BPT stop.

The BPT will run until May 7. The Tournament of Champions will be held on May 10th, followed by the heads up battle on May 14. The overall point’s leader will automatically receive a seat to the heads up battle to face the winner of the TOC. The heads up battle will be a best of 3 tournament format with the winner being declared the BPT champion. The winner of the heads up battle will receive the seat into the Sports Legends Challenge.
