Bluff Poker Tour Season II is Here

The highly anticipated second season of the Bluff Poker Tour kicks off tonight! Last seasons winner, Quackpot, won more than $35,000 in cash and prizes, and you can bet he is looking forward to defending his title.

The first stop on the tour is tonight at 9 P.M. EST at Absolute Poker. The winner of tonight’s event will also recieve a seat to the $1500 World Series of Poker event (event 37).

The Tour has undergone a few changes for Season II, following some requests from the players.

Each tournament will now be a $10+1 buy-in, and there will be two events each week; one every Thursday at 9 P.M.EST and one every Sunday at 5 P.M. EST.

There will also be numerous seats to the $1500 WSOP event awarded throughout the season, in addition to tonight’s event.

Point will be awarded to the top 10% of every field, and players can earn bonus points by referring players to the Bluff Poker Tour and by subscribing to Bluff Magazine.

In order to be awarded points towards the Tour, players must make sure to register their name for each venue at www.bluffpokertour.com prior to the event.

This season’s Bluff Poker Tour Champion will be given a seat to the 2006 WSOP Main Event and a $1500 sub-event. As a bonus, if the BPT Champion busts out of the Main Event during the first two days, Bluff will buy him/her into one of the $1500 consolation events (events 41-45). The BPT runner-up will also get a seat to a $1500 sub-event. With all of these prizes being awarded for only $10 per tournament, this is some of the best value in poker.
