Bodog Offering WSOP Europe Prop Bets
- Lance Bradley | September 19, 2008
This time last year there were very few people who would have bet on an 18-year-old Norwegian woman winning the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event. Suddenly there seems to be a lot more people wanting to throw down some cash on Annette Obrestad as she prepares to defend her title.
Online sportsbook and poker room BodogLife.com has now posted a selection of interesting prop bets for this year’s WSOP Europe which started Friday. Poker fans can bet on an American winning any of the four events on the WSOPE schedule as well as the total number of players in the Main Event.
-
0 - 350 players - 21/10
-
351 - 400 players - 11/10
-
401 or more players - 27/20
Last year’s Main Event had 362 players.
Another prop Bodog is offering is a bet on which of the following pro players will have the deepest run in the Main Event: Doyle Brunson (7/1), Todd Brunson (7/1), Phil Hellmuth (5/1), Johnny Chan (6/1), Annette Obrestad (7/1), Jennifer Harman (7/1), Phil Ivey (5/1), David Williams (11/2), Justin Bonomo (11/2) and Daniel Negreanu (5/1).
And in honor of Obrestad’s historic feat last year, you can also bet on whether or not a female will make the final table this year with ‘No’ being the overwhelming favorite at -750. Odds are also still available on the November Nine with chipleader Dennis Phillips currently a 3/1 favorite.
