Bodog Severs Ties with Jamie Gold
- BLUFF Staff | January 28, 2007
Online gambling site Bodog.com have ended their business relationship with 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Jamie Gold.
“In light of our decision to cease all offline marketing initiatives in the U.S., and instead refocus our efforts . . . in Europe and Asia, Bodog has ended our business relationship with Jamie Gold,” Bodog said in a statement.
Bodog reportedly claimed that the decision to end the relationship had nothing to do with Gold’s ongoing legal battle with Bruce Crispin Leyser, who is suing Gold for half of the $12 million first place prize.
