Cash Game Action Returns This Week on Poker After Dark

The first week of cash game action on NBC’s Poker After Dark proved so successful that the producers have brought the $200/$400 game back with a new cast of characters.

The new group includes Patrik Antonius, Howard Lederer, Doyle Brunson, Gabe KaplanEli Elezra and Dee Tiller. Each player bought in for at least $100,000.The only player that viewers should be unfamiliar with is Tiller. The Texas businessman is a regular in some of the biggest cash games in Las Vegas and Texas.

None of these players appeared in the previous cash game on Poker After Dark but with the exception of Tiller, all have appeared on GSN’s High Stakes Poker.

Like most televised cash games, this week’s action will constantly be in flux. Plenty of live straddles and the eventual addition of an ante guarantee that viewers will get all the action they’ve come to expect from these high stakes pros.

The game will begin airing on NBC Monday at 2:05 a.m. and will continue for five consecutive nights in the same time slot. A special “Director’s Cut” will air late night Saturday at 1:00 a.m. right after Saturday Night Live. This show will feature Leeann Tweeden with a behind-the-scenes look at the week with highlights and insightful player interviews.
