Celebrities Unite for Third Annual Charity Poker Tournament for Opportunity Village

The Third Annual Celebrity Poker Tournament on Saturday, February 16 inside the poker tournament room at Caesars Palace will include an Escada Spring ‘08 Fashion Presentation at PURE Nightclub during the tournament’s break. Players and guests will receive a sneak preview of Escada’s spring line modeled by a beautiful committee of OpportunityVillage supporters.

Celebrities scheduled to participate in the poker tournament include Ronn Lucas, Frankie and Joey Scinta of The Scintas, Thunder from Down Under, Bobby Slayton, Earl Turner, Kevin Burke of Defending the Caveman, the Fantasy girls, Robin Leach, Poker Pro Oklahoma Johnny Hale, Skip Martin, Louie Anderson and more. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. and the tournament begins at 1 p.m.

The No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament will offer a seat in the World Series of Poker plus additional cash and prizes. The Tournament is open to the public with a $500 buy-in and unlimited re-buys available through the 6th round for $300. A second chance tournament will be available to players who bust out of the main event before the 6th round for $200. The second chance tournament winner will receive a seat at the main championship table. For those not wanting to play, $50 grants access to watch the tournament and attend a VIP reception at PURE Nightclub featuring an Escada Fashion Presentation, a silent auction, open bar and gourmet hors d’oeuvres.
