Cole “CTS” South Joins Team CardRunners

CardRunners.com has announced the addition of Cole “CTS” South to its roster of poker professionals. South will join Brian Townsend, Taylor Caby, Brian “Stinger” Hastings, and Isaac “Mjorgenson/Mr. Menlo” Baron in producing the downloadable strategy videos that have made the site the class of the industry.

Cole, 20, is known across the Internet both as one of the biggest winners in online poker since 2006 and as a voracious multi-tabler. The well-spoken 20-year-old from Virginia, who often plays as “Muckemsayuhh,” is a respected member of the community who has also made a name for himself with high-stakes prop bets and by purchasing a $200,000 Bentley coupe with poker winnings. His game is characterized by extreme loose-aggressive tendencies that depart from any strategy currently being taught. He will teach these unorthodox and highly successful techniques at CardRunners.

Cole’s first instructional video, released on September 26th, was viewed nearly 14,000 times in its first day of availability — a single day record. Members are able to leave feedback in real time and discuss individual hands and decisions on the CardRunners forums.

Cole joins Team CardRunners both as a lead instructor and as a part owner, and he plans to use these roles to fully immerse himself in the CardRunners community. “As I was learning no-limit hold’em I sought out any resources that could help me improve, from the Two Plus Two forums to datamined results of big winners to CardRunners. Watching Taylor’s ["Green Plastic" Caby] videos really helped me change the way I thought about the game,” said South.

“I’ve been a part of this community for almost two years now, and joining the CardRunners team will take my participation to the next level. I’m looking forward to making videos and giving back to the members I’ve certainly gained a lot from. Teaching poker is a great way for me to re-analyze my own game, and I really enjoy helping others, explaining concepts, and talking poker theory. Joining CardRunners is a big step that should open up a lot of doors for me. I look forward to taking on a major role in the community!”

Cole will continue to maintain his well-read poker blog, which is available exclusively at http://www.cardrunners.com/cts
