Cory Carroll Wins World Series of Poker Circuit Event

Halifax based poker pro Cory Carroll won the World Series of Poker Circuit championship last night after outlasting the final table at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Carroll, widely known in the online poker world as “UGOTPZD“, was the last player left out of a starting field of 336 players which included Chad Brown and David “The Dragon” Pham, who both made the final table.

Carroll’s victory awarded him with $506,176, a WSOPC Championship ring and a seat in the 2007 WSOP Main Event.
