The Derby Lane poker room in St. Petersburg is hosting the largest poker tournament in the history of Florida this weekend.

On Sunday, September 30, 500 poker players from Florida and around the country will compete in the Derby Lane 500 @ $500.

The $500 buy-in tournament, which sold out in two weeks, will pay out the top 50 places, with $75,000 going to the winner.

Notable players competing in the Derby Lane 500 @ $500 include 2005 WSOP Pot Limit Hold ‘em World Champion Brian “The Rookie” Wilson.
