Doyle Adds Online Poker Heavyweight Chris Moorman to Brunson 10

Doyle Brunson isn’t joking around about this whole Brunson 10 concept of his. The team of young poker players hand-picked by the poker legend to represent DoylesRoom.com has grown by one more name after the announcement Wednesday that 24-year-old Brit Chris “Moorman1″ Moorman was the fourth member of the team.

“Moorman reminds me a lot of me, except for the British accent. He’s a poker natural, a legend in the making, and that’s why I’ve handpicked him to be the next member of The Brunson 10,” said Brunson from London where he’s preparing for the WSOP Europe Main Event.

Moorman joins Amit “amak316″ Makhija, Zachary Clark and Alec Torelli as the first members of the Brunson 10. For those unfamiliar with the concept Brunson has decided to personally select ten players, all under the age of 25, to represent the online poker room which carries his name. Players will sport the DoylesRoom logo in tournaments around the world.

Moorman currently ranks 4th in the Bluff Magazine Online Player of the Year race and sixth in the Power Rankings. His lifetime live earnings of just under $30,000 may not be that impressive but Moorman has focused his efforts on posting strong results on the virtual felt. In the last three years Moorman has over $1,800,000 in net winnings playing online. Most of his damage was done on PokerStars and Full Tilt.
