Even Tom “durrrr” Dwan is willing to admit last year’s much-hyped “durrrr Challenge” was a bit of a let down.

“I apologize to everyone watching that it did take so long…There’s nothing I can do about it now. But I will say [for] the next one, I’ll try to make it better and make sure we finish on time,” Dwan comments in the May issue of BLUFF which hits newsstands later this month.

Next one? That’s right. Though the heads-up Challenge between Dwan and Patrik Antonius may not have lived up to high roller grudge match the online poker community was hoping for, the 23-year old is going to give his heads-up prop bet another go with a new opponent: Brian Townsend.

Dwan gives Bluff the scoop on his upcoming Challenge battle with Townsend in the May cover story and, though the start date of durrrr Challenge Round Two has yet to be determined, Dwan assures readers this will not be another year-long bet:

“[Two or three months] is the timeline to get it done, and with Brian, it’s possible to get it done even faster. With Brian, there will be days when we’ll probably play 5,000 hands.”

In addition to offering up details on the forthcoming Challenge bet, Dwan also dishes to Bluff on his battle with Antonius, his first losing year online, his sponsorship deal as the latest addition to the prestigious Team Full Tilt and who else might be stepping up to the Challenge plate if Battle Townsend proves to be a success.
