The all new season of the World Series of Poker begins Tuesday night at 8 p.m. (ET) with two hours featuring the $50,000 Poker Players Championship. ESPN’s poker night begins its march to the November Nine tonight, only two short weeks after the WSOP wrapped up.

Lon McEachern and Norman Chad will call the action as the game’s top players play the priciest tournament of the Series and compete for the Chip Reese Tropny and the title of best all around poker player. Watch as Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, who graces the cover of BLUFF’s August issue, and his older brother Robert push towards a final table featuring John Juanda, Daniel Alaei, David “Bakes” Baker and the emergence of Vladimir Schmelev.

The $50,000 Poker Players Championship attracted 116 players willing to post the high buy-in in an Eight-game Mix format, with the final table played as No Limit Hold’em. The field created a $5.5 million prize pool, with first place taking home $1.5 million.

Each Tuesday night ESPN will air two hours of all new episodes of their coverage of the WSOP through November 9th - when the November Nine return to decide a winner for the Main Event. Episodes will air from 8 - 10 p.m. (ET) July 27th through August 17th and episodes will air from 9 - 11 p.m. (ET) August 24th - November 9th.
