Heading into the final weekend of play for this FTOPS series IDreamOfZiig, maxxscam and DrMcBoy all claimed their FTOPS gold jersey.

FTOPS Event #19: $200+16 No Limit Hold’em (1r+1a)

The first event of the day drew 1,230 entrants and had a prizepool of $600,000. In total there were 914 rebuys and 833 add-ons that help build the pool and pay the top 135 finishers. IDreamOfZiig won the gold jersey and a sweet six-figure score.

Full Tilt Pro Bruno Stefanelli hosted the event and did fairly well with a 66th place finish. The only Red Pro to finish higher was Jared “TheWacoKidd” Hamby at 48th. Other notable finishers were Adam “Roothlus” Levy 33rd and Joseph “subiime” Cheong 18th.

FTOPS Event #20: $300+22 Heads Up Pot Limit Omaha

Heads up Pot Limit Omaha has become the preferred game of some the biggest cash game players today. The 649 entrants created a $250,000 prizepool that saw the top 128 players make the money. In the end it was Chris “maxxscam” Back who fought his way through and claimed his second gold jersey.

The field was loaded top cash and tournament players with notables Tristian “cre8ive” Wade 19th, Evan “NEONPILS99″ Parkes 62nd, Cliff “JohnnyBax” Josephy 64th, Erick Lindgren 82nd and Aurangzeb “Ozzy 87″ Sheikh 97th making the money.

FTOPS Event #21: $100+9 Seven Card Stud HiLo

The lowest buy-in event of the night still had a respectable turnout with 844 players generating a $100,000 prizepool that paid the top 112 finishers. DrMcBoy outlasted them all and claimed the coveted gold jersey avatar.

Finishing just short of the money was Team Full Tilt Pro Allen Cunningham in 118th place. He was joined outside the money by Thomas Bihl, Aaron Bartley, Scott Fischman, Tim “Tmay420″ West and Jon “PearlJammer” Turner.

When the final table started here’s how the chip counts stood by seat:

The first elimination came when dboy23 was left with only two bets left. He completed with a 5 door card and ran Q T 6 but mucked when DrMcBoy made a set of deuces.

The next short stack to hit the rail was 8-SnipeR-8. His diamond flush draw never made it and was bested by smoothustler making two-pair with Aces and Kings.

The next elimination came by the hands of stoner when his pair of Aces turned into a eight high straight and sent GETGOT out in 6th place who just missed his flush draw.

Continuing building his was stoner when he scored the next elimination as well. He followed moneyman1984 in with split 7s at the start. Eventually making a set of 7s on the river stoner saw moneman1984′s four card straight and four card flush come up just short and ended his tournament in 5th place.

With a wired pair of 7s stoner got all his chips involved in a hand with smoothustler. On fifth street stoner improved to two-pair with 9s and 7s, but staying true to his name smoothuslter had a hidden pair of Queens. He caught a second pair on the river and knocked out stoner in 4th place.

DrMcBoy turned up the heat and started opening up a gap. He was able to get smoothustler all-in with two-pair 8s and deuces while he held a set of Aces. Smoothustler’s tournament was done with a 3rd place finish.

The final hand came when SegaGenesis had wired Jacks to start and DrMcBoy had A Q. SegaGensis never improved and DrMcBoy made two-pair with Queens and 3s. With that DrMcBoy claimed the FTOPS gold jersey.
