The attention of the poker world may be on Las Vegas for the next few months but the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City is doing their best to create a splash.

This past weekend 60 players qualified via a super satellite for the upcoming $500,000 Guaranteed Deep Stack Tournament. Players will start the three-day event on May 4th with 30,000 in chips. The guaranteed prize pool is the largest in Atlantic City history and has a buy-in of $2000 + $150.

Two weeks after that the Borgata will host a World Series of Poker satellite with a $1,000+$100 buy-in. For every 12 players in the event one lucky player will win a $12,000 WSOP prize package which includes the $10,000 main event buy-in and $2,000 for travel expenses.

And as if that’s not enough the Borgata is hosting the Borgata Summer Poker Open, a series of 15 events with buy-ins from $200 to $5,000. The first event runs June 9th with the Championship Event scheduled for June 22 -24. Of the 15 events, one is Seven Card Stud, one is Limit Hold’em and the rest are No Limit Hold’em.
