A Pekin, Illinois machinist can add bluffing skills to his tool belt after winning access to over $100 million in tournament prize pools through Absolute Poker.

Scott Carroll walked away from the March 4th Absolute Dream Package final event with a prize package that includes entries into 10 of the richest poker tournaments including the World Series of Poker and several WPT events, a buy-in to the world’s largest televised Texas Hold’em cash game and one-on-one training from Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi. The prize package, valued at $125,000, will pit Carroll against poker’s biggest pros for several shots at prize pools totaling over $100 million.

“Being a professional poker player has always been my dream,” notes Carroll. “I entered the Absolute Dream Package online poker tournament because I felt the chance to play in 10 huge poker tournaments would be an unbelievable opportunity.”

To claim his seat in the Absolute Dream Package Texas Holdem tournament, Carroll played in a $24 satellite at Absolute Poker and placed second. He used his winnings from that event to cover over half of the entry fee to the Absolute Dream Package final event.

With his two daughters cheering him on, Carroll – who goes by ‘thebombbaby’ on Absolute Poker – made his way to the final table of the Absolute Dream Package final event, and the rest is history.

With the online tournament out of the way, Carroll is staying focused on playing in the big leagues. To help him prepare for each of the land-based tournaments, Carroll will receive an exclusive one-on-one training session in Las Vegas from one of poker’s biggest pros, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi (pictured).

Due to the success of the promotion, Absolute Poker is giving another one of its players the chance to follow in Scott Caroll’s footsteps in this month’s Absolute Dream Package contest.
