Jerry Yang’s World Series of Poker Money to Help Feed the Children

As his year as defending World Champion begins to come to a close Jerry Yang is continuing to reach out and work with charitable organizations.
 
The 2007 World Series of Poker champion is teaming with international hunger relief organization Feed The Children to distribute three semi tractor-trailers full of boxes of food and personal care items.
 
Yang and Feed The Children Founder and President Larry Jones will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29th before the items are distributed. A total of 4,000 families will be given food and personal care boxes and each will receive a 25 pound box of food and a box of personal care items.
“We are excited to work with Jerry Yang,” said Jones. “It is so wonderful that Jerry is sharing some of his winnings from the World Series of Poker to make a positive impact in the lives of thousands of people.
 
Washington Redskins Safety Omar Stoutmire will attend the food distribution as well.
