Los Angeles Poker Classic Begins Tomorrow

Los Angeles becomes the center of the poker world tomorrow, February 24, as the L.A. Poker Classic Main Event kicks off at Commerce Casino.

This event, taped for broadcast on the World Poker Tour television program, traditionally draws the top male and female players from around the globe. A prize pool of more than $6 million is anticipated this year, with the winner earning at least $2 million. This No-Limit Hold ‘Em event is open to pros and amateurs alike, with a buy-in of $10,000 per player. Former winners have gained fame, fortune and gone on to become iconic poker and media personalities. Approximately 800 players are expected, a record for an LA tournament.
