how are these sites able to offer deposits from US citizens but stars and tilt can’t?
how long before these sites get the same treatment from the US?
Why would you advertise online poker sites when the same thing will happen to these sites when they get traffic? GG bluff stick to live tournament coverage.
What the hell if your scared dont play but dont be hateful becuase bluff is trying to keep the game alive i say give it a chance mabey theres a reason these sites are still open like it says one basically is for US only thats great mabey theres a reason ..
I have been playing a LOT at Cake Poker since Black Friday. It’s no Full Tilt or PS, but a very nice interface. They don’t use banks for deposits, so they aren’t in violation of the BS UIGEA.
I think the best thing Poker players can do is flood these sites. If we force the government to play “whack a mole”, all the while they are missing out on the corporate end of the pie. Eventually this will force their hand into sensible legislation. If whenever they succeed at bringing one or two down, and others immediately arrive to fill the vacuum, they may soon see it as an overall losing battle with us.
I, for one, will be playing in a few of these rooms and hope to see many US and world players there.

Pokerstars seemed to have “lost” my money. Wasn’t a lot but I’m entitled to my withdrawal like everyone else. We’ll give it another week.
which site is best if you are looking for sit and go’s and tourneys, it seems like some of the sites you have to wait a long time before a tourney starts
I totally disagree with Dixie. The last thing you want is to flood these sites and then lose all your BR.
Stay on the sidelines if you are responsible with your money.
US Players need to stop bitching and moaning about this, and instead do something:
1. Sponsor legislation to allow on line poker;
2.contact your congressmen and senators to support this and let them know you will support someone else for re election if they’re not in favor of legalizing on line poker.
3.
i played on pokerhost before and i feel it is a ripoff site you will have trouble cashing small amounts
Perhaps these sites haven’t actually purchase a bank in the US. Thanks for keeping us informed, Bluff.
If you’re worried about your money, then don’t put it all on. Just find sites that are easy to put money on, and off quickly (tax might be an issue?), and just keep enough on for a couple buyins then when done, pull it out other than what you’re comfortable with.
When PS shut down, my wife found Lock Poker and bought into it for approximately $500 through MY Wallet. She immediately won some money and attempted to cash out for $800 and still has $800 on the site. It has been more than a week and her cashout request is still pending. Is this because unlike a bank account that debits instantly, a VISA type acccount has to make sure that your time frame to contest the original charge has to elapse before Lock Poker will approve your withdrawal? Even so, with $800 still on the site, how can the site lose. What gives?
what is the best site for sit n go’s for mac users? it seems that it takes forever for a tourney to go off on lock and carbon poker.
ive recently been playing bodog first deposit debit card went well 2nd western union went well now cant use either one having a hell of a time depositing though bodog has given me 20 dollars for free till we can work it out
