NBC’s Poker After Dark Introduces New Hostess: Leeann Tweeden

When viewers of NBC’s Poker After Dark tune in for episodes from Season 4 they’ll find themselves greeted by a new face. Following in the footsteps of Shana Hiatt and Marianela Pereyra is former Best Damn Sports Show cast member and Sports Emmy winner Leeann Tweeden.

Tweeden, who will turn 35 in June, is a former Hooters waitress who has appeared in Playboy, Maxim and FHM. She also has experience in the poker industry having worked as a co-host for FSN’s Mansion Poker Dome Challenge in 2006. She will also appear on the upcoming NBC Heads-Up Poker Championship.

Tweeden also spent years modeling in Los Angeles before she auditioned for and beat out 30,000 other women for the ESPN workout show Fitness Beach. The program was the number one rated fitness show of its time according to the New York Times. Over the years, Tweeden has been the focus of numerous magazine covers.

Season 4 is expected to hit the airwaves later this summer.
