Jeremy “daisyxoxo” Fitzpatrick really does have a 52,000 point lead over the rest of the field. If you’re wondering how daisyxoxo managed to rack up 40,000 points in scores in just over two weeks, here is the simple explanation: Prior to the latest update, Fitzpatrick’s scores on Ultimate Bet were not linked to his pokerdb profile. The most recent update reflects the backlog of UB scores on the year, hence the giant jump in his point total.

While the UB scores did account for the majority of daisyxoxo’s points, he did have a few recent finishes of note, including a victory in the $300 buy-in Full Tilt Poker $100,000 guarantee worth $21,228 and a win in the PokerStars $162 buy-in $50,000 guarantee for an additional $18,302. All told, Fitzpatrick made 13 final tables between Full Tilt and Stars and racked up nearly $75,000 in earnings.

Daisyxoxo was not the only one keeping busy the past couple of weeks. As Micheal “anfo500″ Rocco told BLUFF, he is not giving up on the OPOY race just yet. He wasn’t kidding either. Rocco bested a tough field to win the Full Tilt Poker $1K Monday last week for $90,250—his largest career score to date. That big win plus nine other final tables on Full Tilt alone helped to maintain his lead over 3rd place runner “inhidonks,” but he has a lot of ground to make up if he wants to catch daisyxoxo. The only other major movement in the top ten came from Ryan “ryanbluf” Karp, who jumped up two spots from #9 to #7. Karp had a 4th place finish in the Super Tuesday worth $27,968 and a victory in the FTP $33,000 guarantee amongst other results to help push him past Ryan “late_entry” Gentry and Ronald “ronaldgrauer” Grauer, who are at #8 and #9 respectively.
