Online Poker: Jordan Jymaster11 Young Dominates the Day
- Jessica Welman | August 2, 2010
This Sunday at the online tables, it felt like you just might be seeing double as several players made numerous deep runs and final table appearances. DoylesRoom Brunson 10 team member Alex “AJKHoosier1” Kamberis set the bar for the day early, chopping the Sunday Warm-Up on PokerStars and earning $101,000 for his runner-up finish, then following it up with a win in the $200 rebuy on PokerStars worth another $40,000.
Over on Full Tilt Poker, Jordan “Jymaster11” Young was posting even more impressive results. He began the day with a win in the Sunday Brawl worth almost $105,000, then made another final table appearance at the $750,000 Guarantee a few hours later. Not only did Young make two final tables, he walked away with two victories, claiming the $750,000 Guarantee top prize of $132,787.50, bringing his winnings on the day to nearly $237,000.
That sum was not enough to make Young the biggest winner on the day though. That honor went to aqua44, whose outright win in this week’s Sunday Million netted him more than $245,000. Other big winners on the week included Sunday Second Chance victor Brett “threatnasty” Switzer, who defeated Dan “djk123” Kelly heads-up for the win, and Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal, who defeated Adam “csimmsux” Geyer to claim the top prize in the Full Tilt Poker Sunday Mulligan.
