If the Sunday Million continues this trend of drawing 10,000 players each week PokerStars may just end up upping its guarantee to $2 million instead of the $1.5 Million it currently stands at. This week PokerStars’ flagship event once again drew more than 10,000 runners, generating a prize pool in excess of $2 million. The tournament’s winner, MAE9690, earned $260,000 thanks to a 4-way chop at the final table that saw the top four finishers all earn at least $150,000.

Elsewhere around the poker world this Sunday, some notable names came up with some big scores. Past World Chamionship of Online Poker (WCOOP) winner Carter “CKINGUSC” King had an outright victory in UB Poker’s $200K GTD worth just over $48,000, Tim “TMay420” West won the Sunday Second Chance for over $51,000, Harry “UgotaBanana” Kaczka shipped the Mulligan on Full Tilt Poker for $56,000 and Bolivar “Ramux” Palacios got the best end of a multi-way chop as part of his win $139,162.73 win in the Sunday Warm-Up. Another big payday this past Sunday went to shiftzerg, whose outright victory in Full Tilt Poker’s $750,000 Guarantee netted him more than $147,000.
