Online Poker: “METZMAGNY” Wins Sunday Million after Four-way Chop

If the number of players in the big online poker tournaments on Sundays are any indication of the economy, than things are starting to turn around. The past six weeks have seen some of the biggest tournaments see their subscription rate drop with rooms being forced to dig into their own pockets to cover the overlays. But this week, with the exception of Full Tilt Poker’s $750,000 Guaranteed and UltiamteBet’s $200,000 Guaranteed, every tournament exceeded the guaranteed prize pool.

The biggest winner of the weekend was “METZMAGNY” who, after the final four players agreed to a chip chop, took home $147,822 for winning the PokerStars Sunday Million. Here are all the results from Sunday’s schedule:
