The live poker world’s attention may have turned to Las Vegas with the start of the 40th World Series of Poker, but the online Sunday Majors still went off as scheduled this weekend - and most of them saw increased participation over last week.

After last week’s PokerStars Sunday Million fell short of its $1.5 million guarantee, the biggest Sunday Major came roaring back to close out the month of May. Nearly 1,600 more players signed up for this week’s tournament than the overlay event held last week. That boosted the prize pool today to over $1.7 million, giving player “Rock & Fold” the top prize of the day with $257,895.73.
