Phil Hellmuth to Host Charity Poker Tournament

Phil Hellmuth, in partnership with the TASER Foundation For Fallen Officers , will be hosting the second annual “Playin’ ‘The Hand” charity poker tournament to benefit the families of North American law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

The December 9th event will host two no-limit hold ‘em events; a $200 rebuy + add-on in the afternoon, and a $1,000 rebuy + add-on in the evening.

The $1,000 event will include host Phil Hellmuth and 1993 World Series of Poker Champion Jim Betchel.

The top three finishers from each tournament will play in a “Tournament of Champions” for a $10,000 seat in the 2007 WSOP Main Event.

The event is being held at Fort McDowell Casino, just outside of Phoenix, Arizona.
