For the next four weeks poker fans will get to tune in to Poker After Dark for brand new episodes. The action kicks off Monday night with the first of 12 episodes featuring a cash game with Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Eli Elezra, Patrik Antonius, Howard Lederer, Bluff columnist Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and Phil Ivey.

Players bought in for a minimum of $100,000 and the blinds started at $200/$400 with a $100 ante. According to producers the blinds don’t stay at the starting level long and fans will be treated to a triple straddle at some point during play. After the first week of play the players will re-draw their seating assignments to give viewers a different perspective of how their favorite players play.

After some stints on High Stakes Poker Sahamies is making his debut appearance on Poker After Dark. Ivey’s appearance comes as he prepares for the final table of the 2009 WSOP Main Event in November. Lederer, Dwan, Antonius and Elezra are all regulars on the NBC show.

Episodes will air each night at 2:05 am with the “Director’s Cut” airing each Saturday following Saturday Night Live. The show will also be available to watch online at www.nbcsports.com/poker.
