Poker on TV Guide: May 9 – 15 (EPT Grand Final, WPT, High Stakes Poker)

This week’s televised poker lineup features the return of World Series of Poker broadcasts to the ESPN family of networks after the network pulled episodes because of advertising concerns stemming from the Black Friday indictments. On NBC, Poker After Dark repeats the first of two weeks of a $150,000 buy-in cash game, airing the quarterfinals of the NBC Heads-Up Championship on Sunday afternoon. High Stakes Poker airs a new episode of High Stakes Poker Saturday night on GSN. Finally, the World Poker Tour visits Biloxi, Mississippi for coverage of the Southern Poker Championship.
The European Poker Tour concludes Season 7 with coverage of the €10,000 Grand Final from Madrid. PokerStars.tv will provide streaming coverage worldwide with networks in Europe, Russia and Canada airing the final table with hole cards (on a two-hour delay) of the final four players.

Eight players will remain in Madrid as Season 7 of the European Poker Tour concludes with the €10,000 Grand Final as the winner picks up a cool €1,500,000. Live streaming will continue until four players remain before they take a break.

When the EPT Grand Final is down to four, the players will take a break and be sequestered for the rest of the tournament. Networks across Europe, Russia and Canada (along with pokerstars.tv) will air the rest of the final table with hole cards, on a two-hour delay.
