Despite reports earlier this week that GSN was abandoning poker the network announced Wednesday that poker will be the anchor of their Father’s Day schedule.

Starting at 3 pm ET this Sunday the network will air an eight-hour marathon of poker programming. The session begins with parts 1 & 2 of the Bellagio Cup III. That will be followed by the Foxwoods Poker Classic which features the television debut of online poker sensation Tom “durrr” Dwan.

But the highlight of the day could be the airing of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. This will mark he first broadcast of this event in the United States since the tournament moved to the European Poker Tour. The final table features David “the Dragon” Pham, Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier and Kris Kuykendall. High Stakes Poker host A.J. Benza will call the action along with Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu.

The two-hour PCA broadcast will join the action mid-way through until its conclusion.
