Now that Chris Moorman is home from the WSOP and back on the grind, he has become a serious threat in the BLUFF Online Gold Power Rankings, jumping from fifth to second in the span of two weeks. Moorman has earned over 25,000 points in the past fourteen days. His scores include a third place finish in a $100 rebuy event on PokerStars, a deep run in the Sunday Warm Up, a final table appearance in the $150 rebuy on Full Tilt Poker, and a win in the PokerStars $50 rebuy worth over $10,000.

Moorman unseated Jeremy “daisyxoxo” Fitzpatrick from the number two spot, but is still almost 50,000 points behind the rankings leader, Mickey “mement_mori” Petersen. Moorman might not want to get too comfortable though. Fitzpatrick had a huge Sunday at the online tables, including a UBOC victory, and could reclaim the #2 spot in the very near future.

JeanGrae’s and inhidonks’ spot remained relatively unchanged, save for dropping a spot to make room for Moorman. Bill “CrazyHorse76” Slaght moved up two spots in the rankings, in addition to reclaiming the top spot in the Online Player of the Year rankings (more on that Friday). Blair “SmokMyBandit” Tidmarsh is also trending upward, jumping from tenth to seventh. Tidmarsh’s biggest score of the past two weeks came in the big $50 rebuy on PokerStars where Tidmarsh banked $22,625 for his third place finish.

The top ten is rounded out with Eric “Ericb09” Blair, Felipe “Improved” Montenegro, and paulgees81. A player to keep an eye on just outside the top ten is longtime online poker pro Stian “JohnnyBelow” Stabell, who keeps climbing the ranks thanks to scores like a $17,000 win in the $50 rebuy on PokerStars.
