StarsOnPoker.com to Host Star-Studded Charity Poker Tournament

To celebrate the birthday of big-league hip-hop and R&B producer Irv Gotti, StarsOnPoker.com is hosting a charity poker tournament in his honor on Friday, June 23.

Manhattan Island will be flooded with Rap and Hip-Hop stars including the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Ashanti, P.Diddy and many more. Owners of StarsOnPoker.com, Ja Rule & Anthony Peluso, will be hosting another Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament with special guest pro poker player Phil Ivey. Proceeds of the tournament will go to Ja Rule’s, LIFE Foundation - helping AIDS victims throughout the Pacific.

Recording artist and businessman, movie star, philanthropist - Ja Rule (pictured), whose first seven albums have sold over 15 million combined units in the U.S. alone, has set his sites on being the first Rap Star to merge the hip-hop world with online poker. StarsOnPoker.com feels strongly that this fundraising event and many more will be of great help, not just by raising much needed funding, but also by raising awareness.
