The WPT’s Festa Al Lago V Championship Event is well underway at the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas, and Bluff Magazine is there to bring you live updates of all the action.

The tournament began on Monday, and the starting field of 433 players is already down to less than 40.

Many of poker’s well-known faces are still alive in the tournament, including Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, Eric Seidel, John “Tex” Barch, Carlos Mortensen and Chip Jett.

At the top of the pack are Steve Wong, James Van Alstyne, Brandon Cantu, Victor Ramdin, and a WPT rookie named Brandi Hawbaker; a petite brunette, from Nashville, Tennessee who has been the big story of the tournament, holding the chip lead for most of day 2 and staying close to the top of the leaderboard.
